We’re so excited to welcome you to the third annual Dillabusters Invitational Pickleball Tournament! Life moves fast. It's harder and harder to find opportunities for old and new friends to come together. This is our excuse to bring everyone to one place. We’d love to see you there! Here’s what you need to know between now and the big day. As we get closer we’ll share more details about the run-of-show for the weekend but in the meantime....
Three days of Fun
Dillabusters is more than just Saturday afternoon playing pickleball. It's a weekend long gathering. Meet up with old friends at Friday's Welcome Drinks. Reach your pickleball greatness on Saturday and stick around for the post-tournament party. If you haven't had enough, stay for the Get Out of Town Brunch on Sunday.
Friday: Welcome Drinks
We'll kick off the activities by meeting up for drinks. Size up your opponents, talk a big game, or just spend the evening catching up with old friends and making new ones.
Time: 7pm
Saturday: The Tournament
The main event! Join us on Saturday for a full day of pickleball, laughter and maybe a few questionable line calls. Spectators and kids are welcome, though we won’t have anyone designated to babysit (your children or your fans) while you’re on the court!

Saturday: The After Party
After the tournament, we’ll head across the street to Metro Bar for drinks and general merrymaking. Toast the winners and rehydrate with a drink or four.

Time: Immediately following the tournament
Sunday: Get out of town Brunch
Don't hit the road without a coffee and a smoked salmon bagel to send you off. In a departure from past years, Cait’s parents have graciously offered to host! The brunch will be a low key affair to see off everyone of another successful year of Dillabusters.
Registration
Sign up in teams of two to four players by RSVPing using this form (link). Team names, themes and uniforms or costumes are highly encouraged! Enter as a pair if you want to play every minute of every game, or as a group of three or four if you want to sub in and out and have more down time for socializing!

GameDay
The tournament starts at 10:30 am sharp. We’ll order pizzas for lunch. In past years, the tournament has lasted about three hours, though timing could vary depending on the number of teams.Tournament starts at 10 am. Lunch will be pizza with beers and refreshments throughout the day.
Tourney Format
There will be a group stage in which teams will compete in a group stage with the top teams from each group advancing to a single elimination playoff. The last team standing wins.
Games
Each game in the group stage will last 15 minutes. The win goes to the team with the higher score when time is up. There will be a group stage that guarantees everyone a minimum number of games before heading to the single-elimination stage of the tournament. Spectators and kids are welcome, though we won’t have anyone designated to babysit while you’re on the court. Awards ceremony to follow the festivities.
